Tour de France Rules
Here are some general rules that are part of the Tour de France.

Slipstreaming and other team tactics were initially strongly condemned by the original tour director Desgrange, and he only accepted their inevitability during the 1920s. Nowadays, in ordinary stages, the riders are allowed to to shelter behind each other in the other riders slipstream, which is called drafting.

In ordinary stages, the riders are also permitted to touch other riders, but not push or nudge.
